(Thanks
to Bill and Darlene Cole for these great pictures)

We Had a great number of our friends see us off - whether on the dock or on the water.
Our deck boat "Ladies Choice" with our boat partner Captain
Lance Rogers at the helm, his wife Helen and the Coles gave
pursuit. "Nasdaq" with Marty and Jemin Martinsen were
already out on the Caloosahatchee waving goodbye. "Marsha Sea" also joined the floating group to send us off with Captains Bill
and Marsha Cavinder on helm. Joining them were Alan, Pat
Canfield and Steve, Barbara Grice.

The group left us to go to lunch at "Rum
Runners" in Cape Coral and we went on our merry way.
The old Sanibel Bridge closing in the background.
We'll probably never see it again as she is being torn down.
You can see the new bridge being constructed behind Bob's
shoulder.
Next stop: Key West!
- Key West, Florida
We had a great sail down to Key West (A record for us 20 hours dock to dock). We spent a great few days visiting with our son James and his new bride Stela.
Then after a few errands it was off on our great adventure!
This included "Close Encounters of the Cruise ship kind"
out of Miami. We also had a small "stowaway" on
board.
